GARDEN CARE AND MAINTENANCE

> Lawn care

We undertake the care of the lawn in your garden or workplace equipped with responsibility and knowledge of the subject. Our work includes cleaning, lawn mowing with powered lawnmowers and tractors, fertilising and aerating by using the appropriate machinery. Regarding lawn maintenance, we use formulas for preventing and suppressing diseases, re-seeding and appropriate watering programming.

> Plant Inspection-Prevention and treatment of diseases

We constantly inspect the gardens that we undertake and prevent potential plant health problems using specific formulations that treat occurring diseases, since insects, mites and fungi attacks can be devastating.
The expertise and knowledge of our human resources combined with constant monitoring guarantee a garden with colour and aroma all year round.

> Planting

The right choice of plants according to the climatic conditions of each planting area, the planting manner and the transport specifications determine their growth. The quality of the soil is also a very important factor that can be improved by using enriched peat and adding fertiliser.

Through a wide range of species and varieties we can create colour combinations, compositions, hedgerows, slope coverage and containment, orchards, vegetable gardens and scent gardens.

> Nutrition and protection

The health of plants and lawn depends on the quality, texture and adequacy of soil nutrients. The proper systematic nutrition and the spraying for preventing and treating attacks are part of the services we provide. In the case of large trees where spraying is difficult or impossible due to the location of the plant or due to its height, we perform trunk injections (endotherapy) with high efficiency and duration and without endangering the environment. We also protect palm trees from frost and the Red beetle, an epidemic that has recently appeared.

> Tree and shrub pruning

Plant pruning is necessary for their proper growth and the shaping of the crown. We undertake pruning either through regular maintenance of your garden or during cutting. We also perform pruning of fruit trees for fructification and of shrubs and trees for flowering, as well as framing in edging strips and fences. We also undertake projects in confined spaces with the use of lifting machinery and logging projects for large trees.

SPECIAL GARDEN TASKS

> Monitoring and repair of irrigation systems

Monitoring and maintenance of the irrigation system is a task that is systematically performed by our crews in gardens and terraces, especially during high temperature periods.
The maintenance of the irrigation system includes repair and restoration of any damage, modifications and extensions, setting the programmer, the nozzles and the drip lines.

> Insect removal – Rat extermination

We undertake insect removal, as well as rat extermination, using special pharmaceuticals and ensuring the public health protection. We have special authorisation from the Ministry of Agriculture, while our agronomists and staff have obtained spraying certifications from the Directorate of Agriculture. This work is one of the most important preventive measures for the treatment of various infectious diseases.

> Tall Tree Logging

At the Garden Center Vasiiadi, we have the necessary equipment and great experience in cutting trees and large branches. Logging is a task we perform for gardens that we undertake on a permanent basis or following your recommendations for trees that are located in your private space. In places where the cutting and falling of a tree can create problems, we use special machinery, in order to cut the tree in parts. In special cases, where you cannot use lifting equipment, we have climbers specialized in tree cutting.

> Snow removal

Snowfall can be beautiful to watch and it may offer a time for play; however, it can also cause difficulties in transport and pose many risks. On these hard winter days, we come to your space with equipped vehicles/machinery in order to remove the snow and the even more dangerous ice from corridors, stairs, garage entrances and terraces, with special formulas that are safe for the environment and prevent icing.

GARDEN MAINTENANCE PROGRAMMES

The best garden care solutions.

In order to always have a beautiful and vibrant garden, it is necessary to constantly monitor and maintain it. That is why we have designed three alternative care programmes, in consideration of the diversity and needs of each garden, and the best financial solutions for each case, satisfying the relation between garden area and supply pricing – always complying with the high standards of service and quality of Garden Center Vasiliadis.

The GREEN programme is an integrated garden care package that includes all the necessary gardening tasks for its maintenance, such as: Trimming and fertilising of turf, plant pruning and plant breeding, fertilizers and sprays for proper nourishment and plant protection, control of irrigation system, hoeing and digging of flowerbeds, planting of seasonal flowers, as well as inspection by a responsible agronomist. It also includes a visit of the specialised crew every two weeks throughout a year with a respective frequency of tasks.

The increased gardening needs during the high season of April-September led to the creation of the silver programme covering all the GREEN programme works. This includes inspection by a competent agronomist but also an increased repeatability of works and visits by the maintenance crew. That is, every 2 weeks, during the low season of October-March, and every 2 weeks, during the high season of October-March, and every week, during the high season.

Throughout the year, the garden is inspected by a competent agronomist, ensuring its good state and health, along with suggestions of aesthetic upgrading (seasonal flowers, decorative pebbles, rocks, fountains, lakes etc). It is based on the SILVER programme, but it varies in terms of the repeatability of works in order to ensure the excellent aesthetic result
