Our landscape architects will have a discussion with you, suggest alternatives and help you choose the best one, depending on your wishes and the possibilities that your space offers. Fully specialised equipment and a team of experienced craftsmen and gardeners will take care of the construction based on the final plan that you have approved.

Garden design

There are certain necessary stages for creating a garden. The first one is the design, which is absolutely necessary like an architectural plan is necessary for the construction of a house. This unique and specific design helps us decide the exact quantity of materials and technical installations required, while offering an overview of the garden before its creation.

The selection of suitable plants, the quality of the soil to be used, the irrigation network, construction styles, barbecues, kiosks, parking spaces, walkways, as well as lighting are details that are included in the architectural and plant technical designs.

6 steps in the garden design process

1. Discussion - recording of needs

First visit to your garden and discussion with you, in order to understand your needs and ideas. Recording and evaluation of data, in order to proceed to the design.

2. Presentation of proposals

Presentation of our ideas for your garden with explanatory examples. Possible modifications and corrections according to your wishes.

3. Presentation of final design and offer

Presentation of the project and the company’s offer or other necessary contractors (earth-moving contractor, builders etc.). The construction begins upon accepting the offer.

4. Recording of materials

Drafting a detailed list of the materials required and the construction timetable.

5. Construction and evaluation

Detailed recording and evaluation of all stages of construction until completion.

6. Archive collection

Project photo-shooting before and at different stages during construction. Collection of all garden elements, trees, fences, construction materials etc. and delivery of materials to the owner.

> Slope stabilization works

In inclined gardens with large differences in height, stabilization works have to be carried out in order to smooth out the inclinations and avoid soil drifting due to heavy rain. Retaining walls are usually made of concrete, but we can provide retaining structures with different materials such as different kinds of rocks, which offer higher value and energy in the space, geocells and wooden structures that blend in with the environment and create a distinct point in the garden. The total work is carried out entirely by our crews, while the combined planting creates a magical effect.

> Irrigation and Drainage works

A necessary condition for the garden maintenance and particularly for the vigour of the lawn is the construction of a specially designed irrigation system. Our expert crews undertake this work, taking into account parameters such as water pressure in relation to the supply, the correct distribution of sprinklers and drip irrigation in the area, water saving, proper selection and quality of the materials used.
The best possible solution is providing garden watering autonomy by collecting water in a tank and pumping it, because this way we can achieve the same continuous water pressure and self-sufficiency in case of an interruption in the water supply.
An important factor to take into consideration while creating a garden is the drainage of rainwater in order to avoid damage and humidity in the house.

> Planting and transplanting

The choice of plants and planting points, the planting method and many more factors define the beauty and permanence of the garden.

We have a great variety of plants in all sizes for you to choose from, ranging from the traditional Greek garden plants to the rarest and hard-to-find plants from all over the world. We have the knowledge and experience to ensure their sustainability, and we can undertake the transfer and transplanting of large plants and trees in various parts of the garden in order to improve the final result.

> Earth-moving work

The soil substrate in which the plants will be planted and grow in the garden should have high mechanical and nourishing texture so that it can support plant growth for several years. Our company undertakes soil examination, processing of the existing soil using a cultivator and any possible improvements, or it undertakes the collection of inappropriate soil and the supply and placing of new soil of high nutritional value. It also carries out the final preparation for planting and installing the lawn.

Putting lawn in the garden is an excellent solution, especially in urban centres where the green areas limited and the environmental pollution is increased. The natural lawn releases oxygen, cooling the atmosphere and reducing soil erosion. There are many varieties of lawn seed to choose from in relation to the microclimate and soil conditions of the planting area.

The creation of lawn can be made either through seeding or by placing rolls, which has many advantages. The result is immediate. The lawn can be placed at any time during the year, it can be used on sloping areas, where seeding is challenging or even impossible due to corrosion and offers significant water saving during installation compared to seeding. All of the materials we use, from the seeds to the lawn, are certified and free from fungal and entomological diseases.

> Artificial lakes

The artificial lake and generally the element of water is a powerful piece of the garden, which in combination with the suitable plants in and around the lake, creates a place of pleasure, relaxation and amusement.

The lake can be constructed in any shape or size and be accompanied by an impressive waterfall. It can also be filled with fish, as long as the appropriate filters are used to keep the water clean.

We fully undertake the design and construction, but if you want to construct it yourself, we can offer you all the necessary materials, along with advice for the construction and selection of accessories, such as lights, mist makers, pumps with different fountain nozzles, nebulisers and many more.

> Green roofs-walls

Green roofs-walls are a modern technique by which we create a garden in terraces and on building walls.

There are many benefits since green roofs-walls offer excellent thermal insulation, waterproofing and soundproofing. During the summer, they decrease the absorption of solar radiation by the roof thus resulting in the reduction of the heat transferred from the exterior to the interior of the building. Green walls offer the same advantages, as they decorate buildings and neighbourhoods, wherever they are created, and aesthetically enhance each area.

> Natural cooling

With natural cooling, we significantly improve the living conditions of the garden, even at relatively high temperatures.

Natural cooling involves the use of water spraying. We use stainless steel or copper pipes, depending on the type and the point of manufacture and a high pressure pump kit.
